Oakville – The Halton District School Board has released updated Maps for School Boundaries in the Town of Oakville.
The Halton District School Board serves more than 62,000 public school students in the municipalities of Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville in southern Ontario. All four municipalities form the Regional Municipality of Halton. The Region of Halton and the Halton District School Board share the same boundaries encompassing 232,000 acres of land (93,887 hectares), 25 kilometres of which are along the shore of Lake Ontario.
The 2014-15 operating budget for the Halton District School Board totals $664 million while its capital budget is $50 million, accounting for an enrolment growth of 3.2 per cent.
